Dive into Science, Culture & Conservation
Reef Insight Experience
The Reef Insight Program connects visitors to the Great Barrier Reef by sharing insights from ecological and First Nations perspectives through storytelling. Guests experience the reef’s resilience and beauty while learning about its challenges and the need for modern conservation.
On a Reef Magic x Reef Insight experience with Reef Unlimited, a private marine biologist guides your day, sharing their in-depth knowledge of the reef, showcasing modern conservation efforts like MARRS reef stars, and providing activities such as private snorkel tours and science lab demonstrations. Guests also explore the reef through a cultural glass-bottom boat cruise and a yarn with a cultural guide. The Reef Insight program showcases how science and culture drive sustainable conservation on the Great Barrier Reef.
