Our pontoon is the newest and most technologically advanced pontoon on the great Barrier Reef. 

Reef Magic operates day trips from Cairns to the brand new Reef Magic Pontoon located on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

The all-weather Reef Magic Pontoon is designed and built for a sustainable future. At over 1003sqm, with a capacity of 450 guests, with numbers kept to a maximum of 250, our guests can escape the crowd and enjoy the reef. 

With loads of activities for all ages, you can snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, join our Marine Biologists on a Guided Snorkel Safari, try Scuba Diving or even Sea Trek Helmet Diving.

Equipment

All snorkelling equipment including personal flotation devices in adult/child sizes

Wetsuit & lycra suit use

Wetsuits are 5mm with short arms/legs. Lycra suits provide fantastic sun protection and in season are useful in reducing the risk of jelly fish stings.

Informative Commentary

On board Marine Biology presentation en-route to the reef.

Cultural Guides & Activities

Our Guides blend education and entertainment with interactive cultural demonstrations and story telling throughout the day.

Morning & Afternoon tea

Seasonal Tropical Fruit Platters with Fresh Coconut Shavings / Raspberry and Banana Muffins or Assorted Danish Pastries / Cake and Slice Selection.

Beverages

Tea, coffee and drinking water will be available free of charge throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks can be purchased on board.

Gourmet Buffet Lunch

Enjoy a full hot/cold buffet lunch freshly prepared by the highly awarded & renowned Ochre Restaurant & Catering.

Huge Sundeck

Use of Sundeck, Fresh Water Showers and Changing Rooms.

Non-Swimming Activities
